Never, never put a period in a situation where you know that a question mark still reigns. I think it is better to let just time and circumstance get their acts together rather than forcing things to happen. In time, closure will ensue but not in our own hands. We may compel ourselves to initiate the deed but when you know in your heart you are not yet ready, it just cannot take place.
On the other hand....
Some people just don't know when to stop. So I guess waiting for "the end" at this time is not really advisable. Putting an end to things is more like it.
NOW I AM CONFUSED.
The fact of the matter is-
Never, never make a verdict when you are having second thoughts.
You may end up eating your words.
