When you haven't seen people for a long time, there might be a bit of an off set in your relationship unlike before when you guys were bouncing, bubbly teenagers. It is very possible for there have been a lot of changes in both your environments that could alter your attitudes and views in life. Sometimes, how you were before could never be brought back simply because things are meant to be different. You may be cheerio pals 3 years ago but you could be barely speaking when you meet again. You could be swapping secrets like the best of buddies but after awhile, you may not be able to give the trust that you once gave so freely. It's ironic how things could go about this way but even the case, that person is part of your history. You will look back and laugh about your times together, get nostalgic coz it's just and will only be a mere memory but still be thankful that your paths crossed. Viscious cycle of life; you gain some, you lose some. That's just how it is.
