There will always be that tempting moment when you wanna give in. Taking the easy way out might be the easiest option and sometimes, it's more than that. You want to get out of your bars and see the other side of the world or better yet, see and live in another world. IT WOULD BE VERY HARD TO RESIST THE OFFER.
He got away because you let him. It might be a stupid idea but at that moment, you know you have to let go. He offers the jewels of the earth but you choose to lie in sand and earth. He clothes you in stiff royalty but you prefer the comfort of peasant garments. He puts you on a pedestal but you decide to step down instead. It is unlikely and very bothersome to ignore and turn away from the silver plate right in front of your nose. The idea of wanting to grab it when it's already gone worries you to the bone but remaining steadfast with your conviction leaves you hopeful.
Hopeful that no matter what the circumstance, life is more fulfilling with dirt on your nails.
